Support SVUMC through Micro-Donations!
As we enter the new year, it’s a great time to plan your giving to others through SVUMC. Even better, wouldn’t you like to support our church with donations that don’t come from you? This seems like an easy decision, so here are three ways you can contribute to our church.
The first way is to make sure you have enrolled in the Fry’s 2016 Community Rewards program. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO RE-ENROLL EVERY AUGUST TO KEEP SVUMC AS YOUR CHARITY. It is easy to do! Please use the following process to either enroll or to re-enroll (SVUMC’s NPO number is still 80106).
- * Go to FrysCommunityRewards.com
- * Click on ‘Sign-In’.
- Enter your email and password, click on ‘sign in’.
- Click on your name (top right hand corner), under ‘Account Summary’ scroll down to “Community Rewards”.
- Click on ‘Edit’ under Community Rewards.
- Under Find Your Organization: Enter the SVUMC’s number 80106 or Sierra Vista United Methodist Church then select ‘search’.
- Under ‘Select Your Organization’, click on the circle next to your organization.
- Click on ‘Enroll’
If you have re-enrolled correctly, you should see a green box with ‘Your enrollment in the Community Rewards Program has been updated. Thank you for participating!’ You will also see the information listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.

A second opportunity is through AmazonSmile, a simple and automatic way for you to support SVUMC every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to SVUMC. Enrolling is simple, just type AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com) into your browser and select Sierra Vista United Methodist Church as your charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation. The only requirement is that you enter the www.smile.amazon.com site each time instead of just Amazon.com. Again, this is a free donation from Amazon that costs you nothing and benefits SVUMC.

Finally, you can sign up for Goodsearch and Goodshop and they will donate to SVUMC when you search the web and shop online. Simply visit their website at: http://www.goodsearch.com/nonprofit/sierra-vista-united-methodist-church-svumc.aspx and click the red box labelled “Get Started”. This will show you how to create an account so you can start raising money for SVUMC for free! Then you just do things you already do while using Goodsearch for everyday activities like searching the web and shopping online. Plus, when you shop at Goodshop, you save money with over 100,000 coupons and deals too! And SVUMC receives a donation for each activity you complete on Goodsearch.
